Most of the soft PVC patches and rubber labels are designed with a sewing channel around the border for easy sewing to various clothing, bags, or sneakers. Other attaching options like iron-on backing, and peel & stick, are both applicable. If wish to remove and re-attach the patch anytime, Velcro backing is the best option. PVC patches of 2D flat in layers, or 3D relief, can all be achievable according to the specifications.

Custom Rubber PVC Labels & Patches Backing Options And Iron On Backing Instruction

Here are 4 main backing options for rubber patches & labels: 1. Plain backings (for sewing), 2. Iron on backings, 3. 3M adhesive backings, and 4. Hook and loop backings (Velcro on). Most of our clients prefer sewn on PVC labels, whose application is flexible and the sewing allows the label to stay on tightly. As for iron-on backing, it might seem complicated but the application is just as simple as an embroidered patch. Here’s how: first, place the PVC rubber patch at the desired location, second, set the iron temperature at 150℃ (302℉), pressing the iron from the backside of the fabric to heat the backing firmly for about 25 seconds.
